In a Fox businesses interview, Gen. Michael Flynn was asked about the ongoing cyberattacks against U.S. Government agencies. Gen. Flynn said, “If you enter through this solar-winds attack we received. You now have access, you basically have the keys to the vault,” “and you are inside of our home, and you are able to rummage around and do damn near anything. So it’s a very serious attack.” Flynn also said, “We knew about it for 6-months the way I understand it, and when we talk about our election security, I think this is all part of it; because there is a relationship between this solar winds attack, which has pretty much infiltrated our critical infrastructure as well as our election securities.
Gen. Flynn then adds, “We cannot stand for foreign influence. Which we have direct evidence of foreign influence.” “We also have evidence now from other countries, other foreign partners. Who has evidence, which in fact, they were watching the attacks on our elections system, our election process on the 3rd of November, and they are willing to provide that directly to the President.” Flynn also said, “We now have that evidence and received that today.”
