Lori Lightfoot, Mayor of Chicago, urges city residents to cancel Thanksgiving plans and avoid having people over.

On November 12, Chicago Mayor, Lori Light said in a Tweet…

For months, the Democratic Mayor has implemented harsh lockdown orders on hardworking Chicagoans, but when it comes to BLM or the leftist mob, she lets them do as they please. Covid-19 cases are on the “rise,” yet we were told masks and social distancing were suppose to help “stop the spread.” The mayor was also caught in the streets after the media declared Joe Biden the “winner” of the election.

In the video, she isn’t wearing a mask, nor is she social distancing, but hey, “The rules are thee, not me.” When are people going to stand up to this tyranny? The Government does not have the right to tell me I can’t celebrate holidays, how many people are allowed in my home, or whether my business is essential or non-essential. Every business is essential because that hard-working American is trying to provide for themselves or their family. So, what is Mayor Lightfoot’s exact punishment or bidding if I do celebrate thanksgiving in my OWN home, or I have guests over in my OWN home? Is she going to send law enforcement to arrest me? If she does, that would be violating the 4th amendment, unless law enforcement can somehow obtain a warrant. Which I doubt a judge would approve of that.
