On Tuesday night, Congressman-Elect, Luke Letlow, lost his life due to Coronavirus complications. The Congressman was staying and battling for his life at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport.

The Congressman said he tested his positive on Dec 18 and was self-quarantining at his home in Richland Parish.

Shortly after self-quarantining, the Congressman was transported to St Parish as his symptoms started getting worst; later, he was transferred to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport.

Chancellor G.E. Ghali, an LSU Shaveport, said later the Congressman-Elect from a heart attack following a procedure related to the infection.

“It’s devastating to our entire team,” Ghali said.

“He had no underlying conditions,” Ghali said. “It was just COVID.”

John Bel Edwards, Louisiana Governor, mourned Letlow’s death.

“COVID-19 has taken Congressman-elect Letlow from us far too soon,” Edwards said. “I am heartbroken that he will not be able to serve our people as a U.S. representative, but I am even more devastated for his loving family.

“I hope all of the people of Louisiana will join Donna and me in praying for Congressman-elect Letlow’s family, especially his wife Julia and their two children, his many friends and the people of the 5th Congressional District. Louisiana has lost more than 7,300 people to COVID-19 since March, and each one of them leaves a tremendous hole in our state.”

The congressional delegation of Louisiana also expressed their condolences the Letlow and his family.

“Luke will be missed dearly across Louisiana, and we all mourn his passing,” Republican U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy said.

On Dec. 5th, Luke Letlow won the 5th Congressional District seat with 62% of the vote in the run-off election.

Letlow former boss, Ralph Abraham, R-Alto, would have been succeeded by Letlow. Abraham was not looking to serve another term.

Prayers go out to the Letlow family.

Arizona State Senator Calls for New Election, Says Biden Electors Must Be Recalled

Rogers, who has been a public proponent of Arizona’s multiple election audit efforts, took to Twitter Thursday to voice her opinion that, following updates from an election audit many believe to be without merit, if Arizona is to “get this right” a new election must take place.

“I call for the Biden electors to be recalled to Arizona & a new election must be conducted. Arizona’s electors must not be awarded fraudulently…” she tweeted Thursday afternoon.

Leading up to her recall demand, Rogers had been prolifically tweeting about the Arizona state Senate update and briefing held earlier in the day on the progress of the Maricopa County 2020 election audit being conducted by Cyber Ninjas, a Florida firm that had no previous experience with auditing election results.

Rogers used her Twitter account to tweet and retweet dozens of posts questioning the legitimacy of the election and the transparency of the audit.

“I have heard enough. With the tens of thousands of ballots mailed without being requested, the over ten thousand people who voted after registering after November 3rd, the failure of Maricopa to turn over the 40% machines, the passwords that Dominion still refuses to turn over, & tens of thousands of unauthorized queries demonstrating how insecure the election was…” Rogers wrote.”
