Man in custody after claiming to have bomb at Trump hotel in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Authorities have a man in custody after he claimed to have a bomb inside the Trump International Hotel near the Las Vegas Strip on Tuesday.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said they got a report about the item around 1:10 p.m. at a property near the 2000 block of Fashion Show Drive.

Capt. Dori Koren with LVMPD said a man entered the hotel with a large suitcase and duffel bag and yelled there was a bomb in the building.

The man left in a taxi, and the hotel got two more bomb threats over the phone about 15 minutes later, Koren told reporters.

As of 3:45 p.m., no hazardous materials were found, but authorities were double-checking to be sure.

Koren said a suspect is in custody and described the situation as an “isolated incident,” though he declined to release any identifying information.

Video: School Board Attempts To Silence Parent Reading Out Pedo Porn Books From Its Own Library

A school board in Virginia attempted to cut off a mother who read out loud from disgusting pedophilia porn books stocked in the school’s own library as part of a “diversity and inclusion” drive.

Stacy Langton addressed Fairfax High School officials on the matter, reading from two books she discovered at the institution.

Langton said “After seeing a September 9th school board meeting in Texas on pornography in schools, I decided to check the titles at my child’s high school, Fairfax High School. The books were available, and we checked them out. Both of these books include pedophilia, sex between men and boys.”

She added that “The illustrations include fellatio, sex toys, masturbation, and violent nudity.”

Langton then read the following passages out loud from the material:

“I can’t wait to have your c*** in my mouth. I am going to give you the blowjob of your life, and then I want you inside me.”

“What if I told you I touched another guy’s d***? What if I told you I sucked it? I was ten years old, but it’s true. I sucked Doug Goble’s d***, the real estate guy, and he sucked mine too.”

“This is not an oversight at Fairfax High School—” Langton stated before being interrupted by one official who announced “I’m sorry, there are children in the audience here.”

Well duh. That’s the entire point.

Ms Langton roared back at the board “Do not interrupt my time! I will stand here until my time is restored and my time is finished. These books are in stock and available in the libraries.”

New York City: Fines For Maskless People On Mass Transit

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Wearing masks on buses and subway trains has already been the rule for months now, but too many people still aren’t following it, and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority says its warning period is over.

Safety on the subway is always top of mind, and now it’s not just about protecting passengers from crime but from COVID.

To halt unnecessary health risks and keep precautions on track, the MTA is urgently warning refusing to cover your face will cost you $50.

“We need everyone to do their part and mask up. We know this is what our customers want. They told us they feel safer when they see their fellow customers wearing masks,” said MTA Chief Safety Officer Patrick Warren. “It’s the ultimate sign of respect.”

After months of handing out hundreds of thousands of masks  on mass transit, the MTA is taking a stern stance and stepping up enforcement.
