BRACED FOR CARNAGE MORE MAGA protests planned for TODAY as Proud Boys vow ‘we won’t back down’ and boast of politicians in terror
THE SUN — POLICE in DC are braced for more MAGA protests as militia group the Proud Boys has warned “we won’t back down.”
American democracy was rattled yesterday when a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building as lawmakers met to certify Joe Biden’s election win.

Following the chaos, which saw four people die, cops in Washington have issued parking restrictions in a number of streets ahead of expected demonstrations today.
And while no street closures have been issued, officials say there “is the potential for intermittent closures in the downtown area.”
This comes as Trump-supporting far-fight group the Proud Boys has boasted how they had lawmakers in “absolute terror” yesterday.
Politicians were evacuated from Congress as the furious mob outside breached the police barricade and stormed the building.
On the Proud Boys’ Parler account – which is a Twitter-style social media platform – an image of Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk was posted along with the message: “We will not back down.”
And on their Telegram site, the militia group boasted of terrifying politicians.
They wrote: “For several hours, our collective strength had politicians in Washington in absolute terror.
“The treacherous pawns (cops) were also terrified.”
They added: “They want you to feel alone. But the truth is that you are not alone.
“We are everywhere.”
