In a statement, Sen. Rand Paul (KY-R) called out “tyrannical” Governors as they have knowingly abused their powers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“You know, nobody ever intended that governors would be sort of czars or dictators in charge of the economy,” Paul said. “In my state, you can’t have indoor dining, you can’t have outdoor dining, and your kids are not in school. We’re worse than New York City right now. In Kentucky, our governor has shut the schools down even though all of the science shows that—and all of the evidence—that you really aren’t having a surge when you have the schools open,” he added.

During the Christmas holidays, the Governor of Kentucky has told it’s citizens to limits gatherings; he also put a minimal capacity on small businesses, gyms, and is only allowing take-out at restaurants.

Politicians such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, Gov. of Illinois, JB Pritzker, and Governor of New Jersey, Phill Murphy, have all been caught violating their own orders.
