U.S. Department of Justice Considers Appointing Special Counsel to Investigate Hunter Biden Corruption Case

This despite outgoing AG Barr’s claim that a special counsel would not be needed

The outgoing US Attorney General Barr has publicly stated that he will not consider appointing a special counsel to investigate the corruption case of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden.

“I think to the extent that there’s an investigation, I think that it’s being handled responsibly and professionally currently within the department and to this point, I have not seen a reason to appoint a special counsel and I have no plan to do so before I leave,”  Barr said.

Many people consider the differences of opinion between Barr and the president.

When a reporter asked Barr whether he was worried that the Biden administration would end the investigation of Hunter Biden if he did not appoint a special adviser, Barr replied:“I’m hoping that the next administration handles that matter responsibly,”

But obviously, Barr’s view is too optimistic and too understatement. Many people believe that special counsel is needed to investigate the matter, because the attorney general appointed by Biden to investigate the president’s son would create an obvious conflict of interest.

Now, Barr’s decision is likely to be changed. According to Fox News, the US Department of Justice is considering appointing a special counsel to investigate the matter. This means that once the Special Counsel initiates the investigation, no matter who is elected President of the United States, Hunter Biden’s corruption case will be investigated to the end, and the numerous crocodiles drawn from the HardDriveGate will surface, and the first one will be Joe Biden.
